Why use a vibratory screed
Concrete is a mixture of water, cement, sand, gravel, possible additives and admixtures, and air.
Air is inevitably present in concrete. It accumulates in the concrete during its manufacture (mixing), transportation, and placement (concrete dropping).
If nothing is done, large amounts of air can become trapped in the fresh concrete and thus exist in the hardened concrete in the form of air bubbles and cavities.
The effect of using power screed vibration is to expel as much air as possible after the concrete has been placed, thus making it denser.
The increased denseness of the concrete after vibration allows us to obtain the following benefits.
